Is Apple having a problem with the battery supplier for the new Apple iPhone?
A report from Chinese website Sina.com which was discovered by Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, says that an unnamed battery manufacturer is having problems producing cells for the next iteration of the Apple iPhone. The report says that the company has been able to meet Apple's strict standards with only 30% of the batteries that roll off the assembly line. The company is trying to resolve the problem as Apple starts to ramp up production of the 6th generation Apple iPhone prior to an expected late September-early October launch. The battery in the iPhone cannot be removed by the device's user.

The battery inside the Apple iPhone White also had found a story in ifeng.com that suggests that Apple is trying to get the next Apple iPhone pushed out at the end of August. The analyst believes that the phone will be launched in September, in time for sales of device to be counted in Apple's fiscal quarter ending in September. Last year, the Apple iPhone 4S launched in October pushing revenue and profits to its fiscal first quarter of 2012.
The 6th generation of the Apple iPhone is expected to feature a larger screen approaching 4 inches with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 640 x 1136. The new unit should also be equipped with a re-designed 19 pin connector and 4G LTE connectivity.
